Glenrothes Cougars Ice Hockey Club have been going through a lot of changes in the last few seasons, with a lot of the original guys leaving due to old age or the old war wounds playing up, but we are now getting back to some sort of normality installing the old cougars way into the new breed. We are still up for a game anywhere and will travel for a game and a good drink .....
The teams major achievment must be the organisation of it's own tournament "THE WINTER CHALLENGE CUP" which has been running since 1994 where it was first held at livingston ice bowl, it then moved to Aviemore where it became a firm favourte in the recreational calendar,recently it has been held at the FIFE ICE ARENA and has attracted teams from all over and is still gaining in popularity.........for more details see winter challenge cup
Our training times and game times have now been moved to 11.15am - 12.30pm on a Sunday morning, and ice for full game every 3rd week for further information regarding games/fixtures etc. email fixture sec in the first instance.
