END OF TOURNAMENT
This tournament has been a huge success from it’s first weekend 16 years ago when a couple of cougars decided to try and put a tournament together in the old Livingston ice rink, then onto aviemore where there was some great years and laterly moved down to the Fife Ice Arena.
The winter challenge cup has went from strength to strength, all of which has been aided by yourselves, for without your participation over the years this tournament would not be possible, so once again a big thank you to all the teams who have participated over the years and to all who have supported us in making this tournament the success it is today.
There are a few people who work very hard behind the scene’s to ensure that the winter challenge cup and recreational Ice Hockey is a success and enjoyable for all concerned, and we would like to thank them for all their efforts in making sure this tournament is still one of the best on the recreational calendar.
The winter challenge cup weekends are a good way to bring teams together for hockey and for socialising.. So we hope you continue to enjoy the hockey and do as much socialising as you possibly can….We hope all the games are played in the spirit of friendly competition that recreational hockey is built upon.
